So of course now that I decide to write about what's happening, NOTHING HAPPENS. The days just blend one into another here on Wupper's Mountain. We're heading into a holiday weekend so I'm guessing the neighbors have exited to points hither and yon.
Lora next door said the neighbors were thinking of having a block party for the 4th and if we were around, they'd love to see us. Yea, right...and monkeys might fly out of my butt (stolen, but always a fun line). The neighbors haven't welcomed us since the day we bought this money pit. Not that I am sorry about that. They're not really people we would socialize with anyway. Just not our types. They are, however, creatures of habit and watching them has become a new past time of mine.
For instance, man across the street rides his bike to and from work every day. Way to go green buddy! Nice touch! He comes home for lunch and rides up PRECISELY at 12:12 p.m. every single day. It's uncanny. When I see him I automatically look at my computer clock and it's right on the money. I wonder how he does it. He must watch the clock at work at leave on the stroke of 12 o'clock. Which then leads me to believe that he hates his job so much that he watches the clock intently and can't wait to get out of that joint. I've never figured out what he does for a living. It's a relatively new job for him though. He used to stay home and help the wife with her home soap and lotion business, but I think times got tough and he had to go get a real job. One day I hope to find out what he does, just to fill in the missing pieces.

Here we go again
So I'm going to try this one more time. I'm so bad at keeping up with blogging, mostly because I don't find my life all that interesting to LIVE, let alone to write it all down. But things are changing around here and I figure it's probably time to start putting in to words how I feel about it.
First, let's see what's happening out the window, as that will be a big part of this. Some crazy stuff happens on my streeet from time to time and I usually catch it all just sitting here at my desk. Right now ol Kingswood Court is pretty quiet. But that'll change in no time. It always does.
We began stripping the wallpaper in the master bath yesterday and most of it's gone. I'll get the rest off today. Bob and the boys, along with my mom, have decided that redoing the master bath will be my birthday present. I LOVE IT! New floor, new paint, and hopefully a new shower stall will breathe new life into an otherwise butt ugly bath. I wish we could get new countertops, but the old ones will have to suffice for now.
And as I was winding this down, I looked up to find a black cat with a swayed back walk right in front of my window. This cannot be good.
